This is an 8-story, 129,239-square foot office building a block south of Union Square Park, erected in 1913. The Class B property, located at East 13th Street, is also known as The Roosevelt Building. Stephen D. Hatch designed the Romanesque Revival building, whose faade is a palette of orange, yellow, and tan iron-spot brick and terra cotta trim. It shares its site with 853 Broadway. The Feil Organization, a family-owned, New York City-based real estate investment, development, and management firm, owns the property via its affiliate, 841-853 Broadway Associates. As of March 2015, tenants included non-profit organization The Center for Independence of the Disabled in New York, retail real estate owner, manager, and developer Simon Property Group, and Jivamukti Yoga School.
The Cab:
White back painted horizontal glass with stainless steel binders on all walls. Custom fabricated drop ceiling powder coated white to include an inscribed illuminated cove incorporated into the ceiling with frosted acrylic glass, concealed double row LED strip lights.
