477 Madison Ave. New York

About the building:
Situated within Midtown Manhattan, the property enjoys a prime location on the prestigious Madison Avenue Corridor.  Located on the northeast corner of 51st Street and Madison, the property sits across the street from the historic St. Patrick’s Cathedral and the Palace Hotel, and is one block east of Rockefeller Center.  The property can be easily accessed via the E/M trains (2 blocks northwest), the 6 train (2 blocks east), and several bus lines along Madison Avenue.  The north entrance to Grand Central Terminal is four blocks south on Madison Avenue.
477 Madison Avenue is an office building with street-level retail. Floor plates range in size from approximately 18,000 square feet in the base of the building to 5,000 square feet on the upper floors, forming a tiered setback design that results in multiple outdoor terraces.  The property’s 11,000 square feet of retail space is comprised of prime, street-level frontage on both Madison Avenue and 51st Street.  Built in 1954, the property is being substantially repositioned over the next several years through a $15 million capital program that will include upgrades to the lobby, corridors, terraces, elevators, and other building systems.
